Coming to Manchester
Plans have just been approved for another new hotel in Manchester.
Proposals to demolish the 80,000 sq ft Ralli Quays building in Salford to create a new 16-storey, 280-bedroom hotel alongside a new office development have been granted planning approval.
Ralli Quays was constructed almost thirty years ago for H.M. Customs and Excise. They will be moving later this year to their new base at Three New Bailey.
The new hotel will be located on the opposite side of the River Irwell from Spinningfields within easy reach of Manchester City Centre and its rail terminals.

CitySuites has opened its second aparthotel in central Manchester.
The new-build CitySuites Two is located on New Kings Head Yard in Embankment West, adjacent to their existing property on Chapel Street.
CitySuites Two includes 142 apartments ranging from studio apartments to three-bedroom apartments. All apartments feature a fully fitted kitchen, ultrafast broadband, a Nespresso coffee maker, a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Super Suites housed on the top three floors of the building offer skyline views of Manchester.
CitySuites Two also features a 24-hour gym, an 18-metre pool and a spa pool with a steam room plus meeting space, a brasserie and a bar.
Suites at CitySuites Two are available for one-night stays as well as longer residences.

Berlin coming to London
The German boutique lifestyle hotel brand, The AMANO Group, will be opening their first hotel in London in early 2022.
Hotel AMANO Covent Garden will have 141 bedrooms all with free wi-fi, soundproof windows, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and an in-room tablet.
Hotel AMANO Covent Garden will have a basement bar, restaurant, sky bar and rooftop terrace with city views.
Hotel AMANO Covent Garden will be located in Russell Street in central London, a stone’s throw from a handful of tube stations.

One Hundred Shoreditch opens February 2022
One Hundred Shoreditch is set to replace what was once Ace Hotel in London.
One Hundred Shoreditch will include 258 bedrooms and suites plus a restaurant, a coffee shop and a variety of bars. Bedrooms range from Studio Rooms to Studio Suites. All have wi-fi, a television, tea and coffee, black out blinds, bathroom amenities, mini fridge with treats, plenty of plugs (including USB), a safe, air conditioning plus filtered still or sparkling drinking water.
One Hundred Shoreditch offers five dedicated meeting and events spaces. The One Hundred Room is the largest with 600 sq-ft of space plus floor to ceiling windows boasting panoramic views across the City of London.
One Hundred Shoreditch is located at 100 Shoreditch High Street, a short walk from Shoreditch Overground station and close to Old Street Tube station. It opens in February 2022.

voco St Johns reopens meeting space after refurb
voco St John’s Hotel Solihull, one of the finest conference and events venues in the Midlands, has just reopened its events facilities following a major refurbishment.

New Hyde Hotel coming to London
The 15 Old Bailey building in London, currently undergoing a £34million regeneration, is set to be relaunched in 2023 as the Hyde Paradox Hotel London City – part of the Accor group of hotels.
Hyde Paradox Hotel London City will have 110 bedrooms and suites plus a Levantine restaurant, a Japanese-inspired speakeasy bar and a gym.
Hyde Paradox Hotel London City will be the sixth Hyde branded hotel to open worldwide.
15 Old Bailey was originally built as a hotel. It was converted to offices in the early 1900s. It located in the heart of the City of London – a two-minute walk from St Paul’s Cathedral.

Maldron Hotel Manchester City Centre about to open
The new 4-star Maldron Hotel Manchester City Centre opens this January. It is located adjacent to the latest large scale mixed-use development in Manchester, Circle Square, which is due for completion in 2022.
