A new hotel could be coming to Stafford. Plans are in hand to redevelop the former Stafford Rugby Club ground into a £80million mixed-use development.

Plans for the 6.5 acre site include a supermarket, hotel, multi-storey car park and residential properties.

The site, located in the Castlefields area, is part of the Stafford Station Gateway - close to Stafford town centre and Stafford station.
