March opening for new Bristol Hotel
Dalata Hotel Group has announced the opening of the new Clayton Hotel Bristol City on 14th March 2022 - in the old city at the walls of St. Johns.
Clayton Hotel Bristol City is a modern contemporary hotel housed in the redevelopment of the Grade-ll listed Everard’s Printing Works.
Clayton Hotel Bristol City has 255 air-conditioned bedrooms and suites all furnished with King Koil mattresses, ample working space, free wi-fi, a large flat-screen TV and air conditioning.
Everards Bar and Restaurant at Clayton Hotel Bristol City serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Leisure facilities include a residents’ gym with a wide variety of cardiovascular and bodybuilding equipment.
Clayton Hotel Bristol City has six meeting and events suites all equipped with the latest technology including interactive whiteboards and presentation screens. The Albion Room is the largest seating up to 63 delegates theatre style.
Clayton Hotel Bristol City is located in the heart of Bristol less than a mile from Bristol Temple Meads Station and with good access to both the M4 and M5 via the M32 motorway.

Hotel development in St Andrews
Plans have been approved for the refurbishment and extension of The Scores Hotel at St Andrews in Scotland. The hotel is positioned a few yards from the first tee at the Old Course, overlooking the Royal & Ancient Golf Clubhouse and the North Sea coastline.
The existing bedrooms at the hotel are set to be reconfigured with the addition of a five-storey extension at the rear of the building with a glazed link connecting the two.
The ground floor of the The Scores Hotel will house a new destination restaurant plus meeting and events space. The ground floor will have direct access to the gardens at the rear of the hotel.
The development will create 51 bedrooms at the Scores Hotel, now a five-star rated hotel at the ‘home of golf’.

Hotel Brooklyn coming to Leicester
Spring 2022 is the planned opening date for the second Hotel Brooklyn in the UK. Hotel Brooklyn Leicester is set to join Hotel Brooklyn Manchester which opened in 2020.
Hotel Brooklyn Leicester will be located next to Leicester’s Welford Road Stadium – home to the Leicester Tigers rugby union team.
Hotel Brooklyn Leicester will have 191 bedrooms and suites, a restaurant and bar plus Runyon’s, an American-style diner concept located in the hotel’s five-floor atrium space.
Hotel Brooklyn Leicester will have extensive conference and events facilities both inside the hotel and inside the Welford Road Stadium. No rooming/capacities details are currently available.
Hotel Brooklyn Leicester is located just south of Leicester city centre, around a ten-minute walk into the centre and with good access to the M1 motorway.

New Conference Centre opens in Blackpool
Last week we reported that the Radisson Hotel Group is set to operate the new hotel within Blackpool Football Club’s Bloomfield Road stadium. There are some major developments and new hotels coming to Blackpool in the near future. This week’s Blackpool story concerns the new Conference and Exhibition Centre which has just opened in Blackpool’s Winter Gardens complex.
The Conference and Exhibition Centre provides 2,400sq-mt of event space accommodating up to 2,000 visitors over two floors. The main meeting space is located on the first floor where the room can be used as a single venue or split into four individual rooms. The ground floor space is slightly smaller but that too can be subdivided and it also houses a range of syndicate rooms.
The new Conference and Exhibition Centre is purpose-designed and fully equipped with the latest technology including exceptional broadband fibre connectivity, state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and environment management technology.
The new Conference and Exhibition Centre is integrated within the wider Blackpool Winter Gardens complex, a short walk from Blackpool North station.

Radisson Individuals to open in Blackpool
Radisson Hotel Group are set to operate the hotel within the Bloomfield Road Stadium at Blackpool Football Club.
The hotel will become Blackpool FC Stadium Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals grouping, in early summer 2022.
Radisson Individuals is Radisson Hotel Group’s newest affiliation brand. It will be one of only five hotels integrated within a UK football stadium.
Blackpool FC Stadium Hotel has 66 bedrooms, 22 of which have views overlooking the pitch.
Blackpool FC Stadium Hotel has a restaurant, a lounge sports bar and a meeting and events suite that can accommodate up to 300 guests. Leisure facilities include a spa with four treatment rooms, a sauna and a 90sq-mt fitness centre.
Blackpool FC Stadium Hotel is a ten-minute walk from Blackpool South station, and a ten-minute drive from Blackpool North station.

New Hotel set to open in Kent
Boys Hall is a 17th century manor house in Kent. It is set to be launched as a ten-bedroom boutique hotel in June 2022.
Boys Hall is a Grade-II listed house originally built in 1616. Famous guests from the past include King Charles 1 and Samuel Pepys.
Boys Hall is currently being restored. As well as 10 luxury bedrooms, the hotel will include private dining spaces, a 70-cover restaurant in the main dining hall, two outside terraces and a pub.
Boys Hall is located in Boys Hall Road just outside Ashford in Kent and around 60 miles from central London.
