Birmingham University hotel plan set for approval

birmingham universitynewhotelPlans by the University of Birmingham to build a new hotel are set to gain approval.

The new hotel will have 172 bedrooms and conference facilities. It will be located on the University's Edgbaston campus.

The new hotel, which will be known as Hornton Grange Hotel and Conference Centre, is part of a £300million investment at the University of Birmingham campus.

Hornton Grange Hotel and Conference Centre will include 172 bedrooms, a restaurant and bar plus a main conference suite to accommodate up to 200 delegates.  The new conference facilities will enable University of Birmingham to compete for major academic conferences which up until now have gone outside the region.

Subject to final approval Hornton Grange Hotel and Conference Centre will open summer 2018.

Hornton Grange Hotel and Conference Centre will be located in Edgbaston Park Road a five minute drive from the centre of Birmingham.
