Radisson has added the Edwardian Manchester hotel to its luxury Radisson Collection hotels portfolio following a multi-million-pound renovation. The Manchester property is relaunching as: The Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel.

The hotel is the third in the UK to join the Radisson Collection.

The Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel is located in Manchester’s Grade II-listed Free Trade Hall. The Free Trade Hall was constructed between 1853–56 on St Peter’s Fields, the site of the Peterloo Massacre in Manchester.

The Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel has 263 bedrooms each featuring a modern design influenced by the building’s long heritage. The renovation has covered the ground and lower-ground floors – including the entrance lobby, bar and restaurants, the spa and fitness centre, as well as the bedrooms and meeting spaces.

The Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel has 22 meeting and events spaces plus executive conference rooms and boardrooms. The Hallé is the largest events space housed within the original part of the Free Trade Hall, where the Hallé Orchestra once performed. It will accommodate up to 550 guests.

The Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel is located alongside Manchester’s Central Convention Complex on Peter Street. It is a ten-minute walk from Deansgate Station, a two-minute walk from the metro stop St Peter’s Square, and a short drive from Manchester Airport.
