A multi-million-pound refurbishment plan has been unveiled for 42 The Calls hotel in the centre of Leeds.

42 The Calls is a former 18th century riverside corn mill that was converted into a 37-bedroom boutique hotel in 1991. It went into administration in February 2018 before being rescued by new owners.

Plans for 42 The Calls will feature a members-only rooftop champagne bar accessed via a glass elevator located at the side of the building, a new Italian-inspired café bar, a second champagne bar with access to a deck overlooking the river and a new restaurant.

Refurbishment work is scheduled to begin in January 2020 with a relaunch penciled-in for December 2020.
