Hotel Indigo Stratford-upon-Avon has just opened in the heart of the Warwickshire market town.

Hotel Indigo Stratford-upon-Avon has 93 bedrooms with designs inspired by the history of the local neighbourhood with each room paying homage to the town’s heritage which stretches back to medieval times.

The bedrooms feature three designs:

The Tudor Rooms display the tradition of the 16th century building and offer a path to the past, with views of Shakespeare’s New Place, his residential home in later life.

The Georgian Townhouse is inspired by Shakespeare’s Theatre.

The Contemporary Rooms in the new wing feature designs drawing from the building’s more recent 20th century past.

All bedrooms are furnished with Hypnos beds and equipped with Nespresso coffee machines and a 40-inch flat screen television.

Hotel Indigo Stratford-upon-Avon has a Grade 1-listed façade which dates back to the 16th century. More recently, the building has been extended to include a new contemporary wing from the 1960s. The hotel includes a private walled garden and an undercover outside BBQ area.

Hotel Indigo – Stratford upon Avon features The Woodsman restaurant and bar. The restaurant also has a Feasting Room that serves as a breakfast room by day, and by night transforms into a private dining room complete with a long central table for up to 30 guests. The Falcon Tea Room within the restored building is a nod to the building’s past, as the Falcon Hotel.

Hotel Indigo – Stratford upon Avon has two meeting rooms: The Boardroom seating up to twelve delegates and the Study seating four people.

There are currently 103 Hotel Indigo properties open globally with another 99 in the pipeline.
