Keele University Events and Conferencing have relaunched their meeting and events facilities following a comprehensive refurbishment.

Dorothy Hodgkin lecture theatre has undergone a complete refurbishment. It is now equipped with the latest AV technology and new LED lighting.  To complement the auditorium, two new meeting rooms have been added, making Dorothy Hodgkin a self-contained venue with a mix of tiered and flat floor space.

Chancellor’s Central, formerly Chancellor’s Building Exhibition Suite, has also undergone refurbishment. Conference and events space is now complemented by a range of open plan refreshment and relaxation areas with a choice of catering options and an extensive exhibition area.

Completing the trio of projects is the development of 453 new ensuite bedrooms on campus, available during the summer for residential conferences and summer schools.  The new accommodation blocks consist of a number of flats, each with a large communal area. Each bedroom has its own en-suite shower room plus a double bed with plenty of storage and desktop work space.

The new facilities at Keele University will be featured at the Academic Venue Showcase Show on Tuesday 19th March at the ILEC Conference Centre in London.
