The Buxton is a new pub and hotel opening inside an old Victorian building on the corner of Brick Lane and Osborn Street in east London.

The Buxton is named after the local social reformer - Sir Thomas Foxwell Buxton.

The Buxton will feature a ground floor pub, with a standalone open kitchen and bar with counter seating serving a European food menu - plus a seven-storey hotel above with 15 bedrooms.

The bedrooms in The Buxton will have a simple decor, with multifunctional furniture and handwoven textiles. The corridors on the other hand will boast hot pink walls and 1950s patterned carpets.

The Buxton will also feature a rooftop terrace with an honesty bar and a hot tub.

The Buxton is expected to open spring 2019.
