birmingham edgbastonhotelThe Edgbaston hotel in Birmingham has started work building 14 new bedrooms.

They are being constructed next door to The Edgbaston which currently has just the six boutique-styled bedrooms.

The new rooms at The Edgbaston will be art-deco themed with the period features of the building enhanced.

The new rooms are expected to open towards the end of this year.

The Edgbaston opened in 2014. The hotel also has three cocktail lounges and a bar/terrace which is also undergoing an expansion.

The Edgbaston is located in Highfield Road, a ten-minute drive from Birmingham New Street Station and central Birmingham.
