birmingham 26frederickStA new boutique hotel is on the cards for Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

A derelict factory building in Frederick Street is the site for the planned new hotel. The building is a Grade II-listed former goldsmith’s factory dating back to the 1860’s. The building is currently vacant and in a poor state of repair.

The planned new hotel would have fifteen bedrooms.

Mosaic Pub and Dining are behind the plans. They also own the Button Factory alongside which is a restaurant and bar housed in another restored and converted factory in the Jewellery Quarter.

Plans have just been submitted for approval.
