birmingham HippodromeDanceHubA dramatic, new 'New York-style loft' rooftop extension is planned at the Birmingham Hippodrome.

Birmingham Hippodrome has been home to Birmingham Royal Ballet since 1990 and the rooftop extension will be known as the Dance Hub.

The Dance Hub will create 7,265 sq-ft of new space for professional and community dancers including a large dance rehearsal studio, ancillary facilities and office space.

If approval is granted by Birmingham City Council construction of the Dance Hub will begin in Spring 2019.

Birmingham Hippodrome already boasts extensive meeting and events facilities. The theatre has six spaces including the main auditorium. It can accommodate from 10 to 210 delegates in total.

Birmingham Hippodrome is located in the centre of Birmingham, a short walk from both Birmingham New Street and Moor Street stations.
