birmingham edgbastonhotelThe Edgbaston, the six-bedroom hotel with three cocktail lounges in Birmingham, has had its expansion plans approved by the city council.

The Edgbaston plans to transform the adjoining Grade II-listed property which is currently an unused office building.

This will create an additional 14 individually-designed bedrooms; five en-suites on the ground floor; six on the first floor and a further three guest bedrooms on the second floor.

The Edgbaston is located in Highfield Road in Birmingham just across the road from The High Field bar and restaurant which itself has 12 bedrooms.

Michelin-starred Simpson’s Restaurant is also just around the corner.
