birmingham belfryThe Belfry Hotel and Resort in Sutton Coldfield has just unveiled a major expansion plan.

 

The Belfry Hotel and Resort is known worldwide principally as the home of golf’s Ryder Cup.

However, the hotel also has 320 bedrooms and 22 conference and meeting rooms all with natural daylight and equipped with the latest AV technology, wi-fi and high speed internet access.

Development plans include a new indoor water entertainment area as well converting the current Bel Air nightclub into a luxury spa.

Plans could also include a new 500-seater conference facility and an additional 112 bedrooms.

A planning application is due to be submitted to North Warwickshire Borough Council in the summer and construction could start early next year.
