Millennium Point to create new events space

birmingham millenniumpointConnectBirmingham's Millennium Point is planning to create new events space.

Known as CONNECT, the space will be located on Level 2 of Millennium Point.

CONNECT will consist of three meeting rooms and a seminar space which can either be booked individually or as an entire events suite.

When opened up to create one large boardroom space – the CONNECT seminar room – it will accommodate up to 100 delegates theatre style, 40 cabaret and 56 banqueting style.

Millennium Point’s existing multi-purpose events space, the Platform, will be upgraded to enhance its current offering, which includes a built-in bar counter, lounge area and digital signage.

The CONNECT project is scheduled for completion in June 2017.

Millennium Point is home to Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum, faculties of Birmingham City University and Birmingham Metropolitan College.

It is located in the Eastside district of Birmingham's City Centre at the heart of the city’s Knowledge Quarter.
